About Me

Well, well, well... I am a professional actor. Mostly Shakespeare because that's where my heart is and what my training was mostly about.  I graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX with a BA in Theatre, and then went to The University of Delaware's Professional Theatre Training Program to get my masters degree in acting. After "living" in NYC for a brief stint (working two non-acting jobs and surviving in a studio apartment with another person), I started work at  The American Shakespeare Center in a beautiful theatre located in a tiny little town in Virginia. That town is Staunton, by the way. The "u" is silent. We do it with the lights on!

I am passionate about my family, my friends, and my career. I LOVE what I get to do everyday for my job, and I have such a wonderful support system in my friends and family. All of that makes life pretty damn good!

I spend most of my time now working at the American Shakespeare Center(where I have been employed on and off since 2004). I have had the privilege and pleasure of working other places, but the ASC is my other home. Not only do I get the pleasure of working with people I have known and loved for years, I also get the opportunity to play some really great roles...and for an extended period of time--so very rare in the theatre.

Since graduate school,  I have worked in North Carolina, Virginia, Delaware, Colorado Springs, and Boulder.  I love getting to see all the beautiful parts of this country.  Of course, Charles' (one of my amazing best friends and spectacular webmaster) home country is pretty great, too, which I finally got to visit in 2007. Oh, that's England, by the way, for those of you who don't know Charles.

Other things about me--

  • I love having a good time and being around others who are having a good time
  • Life is way too short for bullshit, so I don't put up with much of it.
  • I believe in honesty, love and living life to the fullest for as long as you can!

Thanks for checking out my website and have a brilliantly beautiful day!
